Come home to McGehee….for “Owl Fest 2008”. Enjoy a Homecoming Parade and Bonfire on Thursday afternoon, October 9; cheer the McGehee Owls during the Homecoming Football Game on Friday night, October 10, followed by a downtown street dance. A full day of fun activities is planned for Saturday, October 11, including a Two-Person Scramble Golf Tournament to benefit the McGehee Owls Touchdown Club; a National Wild Turkey Federation sanction Turkey Calling and Owl Hoot contest; an Archery Contest; a BBQ contest; Talent Show; Horseshoe Tournament; Razorback Tail Gate Party (with FREE BBQ served at 4:30 p.m. on a first-come first-served basis to the first 600 people in line); vendor booths; children's activities; Chef Jamie & guests cooking demostration; more music; a Saturday night street dance – and more! Official Owl Fest 2008 shirts are on sale now, call (870) 222-6600 to place a credit card order (available: T-shirts; long-sleeved shirts and "hoodies").

We encourage Class and Church “homecomings/reunions” during Owl Fest 2008 and hope classes will set up a booth at the football game on Friday night and downtown on Saturday where classmates and friends can gather and share memories.
